Regresamos por el mismo camino hasta ingresar a las Pampas Negras y llegamos al imponente Volcán El Morado donde haremos una caminata hasta su crater aportillado. La aventura continúa ingresando a una huella donde la defender demuestra porque es el vehículo preferido de los aventureros. Luego llegamos a la ruta 40 para conocer el imponente cañón de roca basaltica que construyo el Rio Grande en “La pasarela”. Después de la Merienda, Regresaremos a Malargüe recorriendo 130 km de la ruta nacional 40.
Recommendations: Las bajas temperaturas, incluso en verano por el efecto del viento, obligan a llevar siempre abrigo. La radiación solar es muy fuerte por lo que hay que protegerse. Calzado cómodo para caminar y agua extra.

Duración de la Excursión: El total del recorrido llega casi a 420 Km. Dependiendo de las condiciones climáticas y camino, la duración mínima es de entre 10 y 12 hs desde y hasta Malargüe.
